NASA Approves SpaceX’s Starship In-space Refueling Technology!

NASA Approves SpaceX’s Starship In-space Refueling Technology! According to a recent NASA official, SpaceX is making great strides toward completing their Starship in-space refueling technology. NASA’s Artemis moon landings will heavily rely on this technology. This is due to the fact that before SpaceX’s Starship Human Landing System (HLS) can transport a crew to the moon, it must refuel in low Earth orbit. Hey, everyone! Welcome back to my channel. In today’s episode, we are going to explore SpaceX’s in-space refueling technology and all the recent updates in Starbase. But, before we begin, make sure you subscribe to our channel and click the bell icon so you don’t miss any of our amazing videos. NASA believes that SpaceX will be prepared to connect two Starships in orbit for a bold refueling demonstration at some point in the upcoming year, a technological achievement that will enable access to the Moon. Under NASA’s Artemis program, which seeks to bring humans back to the lunar surface for the first time since 1972, SpaceX has a contract with the government to provide two human-rated Starships for the first two astronaut landings on the moon. Although it is generally considered to be an ambitious timeline, the first of these landings, on NASA’s Artemis III mission, is currently planned for 2026. The managers of Artemis now have two options for follow-on missions after NASA awarded Blue Origin a contract last year to create its own human-rated Blue Moon lunar lander.
